Amazon signal tracking for authors

Know the moment your book moves on Amazon.

BookSylo watches your book's public Amazon pages and tells you when something meaningful changes — rating, rank, price, or a bestseller badge — so you can stop refreshing and get back to writing.

  • iPhone, iPad, and Android
  • All 22 Amazon marketplaces
  • No Amazon login
  • Free for your first book

How it works

Three taps to set up. Then it runs without you.

01

Add your book

Paste an ASIN or ISBN, or just search the title with an optional author hint. No Amazon login, ever.

02

BookSylo watches Amazon

It checks your book's public Amazon pages on a regular schedule and keeps a tidy history of what it finds.

03

You get a heads-up

A glanceable notification carrying the actual numbers, the moment a rating, rank, price, or badge changes.

Written for working authors

Keep writing. BookSylo watches the page.

Every one of these is a moment authors already check for by hand. BookSylo just does the checking.

Stop checking Amazon by hand

Refreshing your product page between writing sessions tells you nothing most of the time. Let your phone tell you when something actually moved — the numbers are in the notification, so you often will not even open the app.

Catch the jump

Rank is public, and a sharp rank improvement is worth knowing about while it is happening. BookSylo pings you when your rank jumps, not hours later.

Chase a category Top N

Most authors care about one subcategory more than the whole store. Set the Top N you are aiming for, see it drawn on your rank graph, get an alert when your book crosses it, and mute the categories you do not care about.

Run a promo and know what it did

Pin a private note to the day the price drop, newsletter feature, or ad push ran and see it marked right on your rank and rating history. On launch day, Pro users can hit Check now instead of waiting for the next scheduled check.

Publish wide, watch it all

Kindle, paperback, hardcover, and audiobook, across 22 Amazon marketplaces — grouped into one tidy title card on Pro instead of a long list.

Watch the competition

BookSylo tracks any public Amazon book page, not only your own. Add the comp titles and category bestsellers you measure yourself against and learn what good looks like in your category.

Features

Less refreshing. More signal.

Everything BookSylo watches, how it reaches you, and what you can do with it once it arrives.

What it watches

  • Rating alerts

A new rating lands, or your star average shifts — you hear about it.

  • Rank movement

Store rank plus every specific category your book is listed in, with thresholds so small noise stays quiet.

  • Category rank goals

Set the Top N you are aiming for and see the goal line drawn on your rank history graph.

  • Milestones and badges

An alert when you break into a Top N, and a Best Seller signal when a category rank cracks the Top 10.

  • Price watch

Public price changes on your listing, alongside every other signal.

How it reaches you

  • Numbers in the alert

“Improved 35 spots to #87 in Hard Science Fiction. Best rank this week.” — not “something changed”.

  • Per-category control

Every category your book ranks in can carry its own threshold, or be muted on its own.

  • Daily summary

Prefer one check-in over individual pings? Switch to a digest.

  • Quiet hours, pause, snooze

Nothing arrives at 3 a.m. unless you want it to.

  • Activity feed

Every rating, rank, price, and milestone moment for a book, in one list.

Your catalog

  • Fast add

Start tracking by ASIN, ISBN, or title search with an optional author hint.

  • Formats and marketplaces

Kindle, paperback, hardcover, and audiobook across 22 Amazon marketplaces.

  • History with your notes on it

Rating, rank, and price as graphs or a table — 14 days on Free, 90 days on Pro.

  • Private labels and notes

Organize your catalog the way you think about it, and anchor a note to the day it happened.

  • Share the moment

Send a snapshot or a single milestone straight to the share sheet. Public metrics only — never your notes.

Edition grouping and Check now are Pro features. Everything else listed above is on every plan.

Coverage

Wherever you publish, BookSylo can watch it.

Publishing wide should not mean picking one store to care about. BookSylo can follow the same title across formats and marketplaces, and Pro lets you group the editions you track into one Home card.

FAQ

Clear answers before you install.

Do I need an Amazon account or password?

No. BookSylo never asks for an Amazon login and never stores Amazon credentials.

Does BookSylo track my sales or royalties?

No. BookSylo only reads public Amazon page signals such as ratings, rank, price, and badges. It is not a sales or revenue tracker.

Is BookSylo affiliated with Amazon?

No. BookSylo is an independent product and is not affiliated with Amazon.

Which Amazon marketplaces are supported?

All 22: the US, UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Canada, Australia, Japan, India, Brazil, Mexico, the Netherlands, Sweden, Poland, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Belgium, Ireland, and Singapore. A title has data in a marketplace where it is actually listed on Amazon.

Can I track books I did not write?

Yes. BookSylo tracks any public Amazon book page, so the comp titles and category bestsellers you measure yourself against can sit alongside your own books.

Do I need a BookSylo account?

Not for the Free plan — one book can be tracked without registering. A registered account is required to purchase or restore Pro.

What does it cost?

The Free plan lets you track 1 book. Pro is $4.99 per month, is required to track 2 or more books, and may include a 14-day free trial where available.

Will my price go up later?

Not for you. If you subscribe at $4.99, you keep that rate for as long as your subscription stays active. Pro is planned to move to $7.49 per month as BookSylo grows, but that price applies to new subscribers — not to a subscription that is already running.

How do notifications work?

BookSylo regularly checks the public Amazon pages of your tracked books, detects meaningful changes, and sends them to your device with the actual numbers in them. Quiet hours, pause, snooze, and per-book and per-category thresholds are all yours to set.

What does sharing include?

Only public Amazon-facing values: the book title, the public metrics, the date, and a small BookSylo signature. Your private labels, notes, and account details are never shared.

What data does BookSylo store?

Your tracked books, notification preferences, an optional account email, and any support diagnostics you choose to send. It does not store Amazon credentials.

Which devices are supported?

BookSylo is a mobile app for iPhone, iPad, and Android.
